This is the second book I have read by Anna-Lou Weatherley and having previously loved Pleasure Island i was really looking forward to reading Black Heart. In a sea of social media chatter surrounding "The Couple on Cedar Close," "Black Heart" has remained a well-kept secret. The ongoing private lives of Strike and Robin, as well as their relationship also provides a relief within the story.
