The survival of graffiti from Pompeii is, in my opinion, equally as fascinating as the wall paintings, as it truly shows us that humans really have not changed in 2,000 years.Author Elodie Harper remembered the women who worked at the real Lupanar by taking their names for characters in The Wolf Den. Kelly: I think it makes it more believable, and to have one of them acting in such a different way is really important.
